Art Beat classes are weekly, and can be taken on a drop-in basis.
In addition to the yoga classes listed below, Art Beat also offers our members a range of dance classes. Please note that special workshops are excluded.
Adult Gentle Yoga
The class is designed around participant needs and moves at a gentle pace. Modifications and props are always available.
Touched by Cancer Yoga
This class is designed specifically for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. Like Gentle Yoga, the class is structured around participant needs and moves at a gentle pace. Modifications and props are always available.
How to attend Art Beat classes
- Sign up for the class you'd like to attend on Art Beat's online schedule.
- When checking out, select the "Drop In" option.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the class to check in and get settled.
- When checking in at the studio, let them know that you're a Team Survivor member.

Yoga at East Austin Athletic Club is included alongside the various strength and conditioning classes they offer to Team Survivor members.
Yin Yoga and Stretch
Currently the yoga class takes place on Thursday evenings. The EAAC online schedule has the most up to date information.
How to attend East Austin Athletic Club classes
- You will need a Team Survivor promo code. Contact us to get your code.
- Select a class on the EAAC online schedule.
- Next, you'll be prompted to create an account, or log into your existing account.
- In checking out, select the $30 "1 Club Day Pass Workout" option and enter your Team Survivor promo code.
- Please note there is a cancellation fee for no-shows. EAAC asks that you arrive about 10 minutes before your class.

Moving Beyond cancer collaborative
Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative classes are offered both in-person and online.
In addition to the below, MBCC periodically also offers additional classes such as Candlelight Meditation and Fitness & Cardio. Check their online classes calendar for the latest.
Yoga
In-person and online. This class is intended for anyone impacted by cancer and is grounded in Hatha-based practice. Expect gentle movement linked with breath, deep held stretches, restoratives, and deep guided relaxation. Open to all levels and limitations.
Tuesday Yoga for Patients and Survivors
In-person. A yoga class specifically for cancer patients and survivors that focuses on stimulating the immune system through movement as well as improving strength and flexibility. In this gentle and restorative class, the individual benefits both physically and emotionally, reducing anxiety and boosting overall wellbeing. Modifications will be made for physical limitations due to effects of chemotherapy and surgeries. Mats and cushions are provided.
Chair Yoga
In-person and online. This is an adaptive yoga class for all levels and abilities. By incorporating a chair into your practice, you may enjoy the benefits of yoga while seated. This gentle practice is designed to improve circulation, mobility, and flexibility while finding balance and an overall sense of well-being.
Qigong
Online. A health and wellness practice with roots in China dating back over two thousand years, Qigong (pronounced "chi-gong") comprises of practices that coordinate body, breath, and mind through body postures, movement, and focused intent. Benefits have been shown to include improved mood, quality of life and lung function, along with reduced pain, stress, anxiety, and fatigue.
Its great appeal is that the movements are easy to learn. It can be practiced anywhere at any time and does not require any special equipment or clothing.
Pilates
Online. This class is intended for everyone dealing with cancer treatment, recovering from treatment, or impacted by a loved one’s cancer journey. It is modified and low impact, helping build strength, flexibility and overall body awareness. The mat class will teach you how to assist your lymphatic system and strengthen your muscular system, improving your balance and overall confidence.

- On the "Categories" drop-down menu (on mobile, you'll need to click the month/date drop-down first), select "Co-sponsored by Team Survivor" to show all available classes.
- Select your class, click "Register Here," and complete the quick registration. There is no cost.
When checking in, let them know that you're a Team Survivor member.
Please arrive about 10 minutes before class begins.
